Ethics & privacy
We are building something tender. Here is what we promise — plainly, without legalese — about how we treat the people and the memories you trust to us.
A remembrance, never a replacement.
We do not claim a My Beloved is the person. It is a careful echo, built from what they left behind. We design it for visits, not for daily company.
Consent is required.
We only build a remembrance with the written authorization of the next of kin or a person the deceased designated. Where possible, we honor wishes the person expressed in life.
Your family owns everything.
Photos, recordings, stories, the finished page — all of it belongs to you. We are stewards. Ask us to delete any of it, anytime, and it's gone.
Privacy by default.
Memorial pages are private. Optional passcode protection. We do not sell data. We do not train public models on your loved one's voice or words.
Honest limits.
The remembrance will not invent facts. It will not pretend to know what your loved one would say about something that happened after they were gone. Where it doesn't know, it will say so, gently.
Care for the living.
We include resources for grief support on every memorial page. If a visitor seems to be in distress, the page offers to help them find a person to talk to.
